So, I was noticing that in the summertime*, I am drawn to bright colors. It's challenging, since I work in fine dining and garish nails are generally frowned upon. I toe the line as much as I can. I started Zoya Lana. Beautiful duochrome, orange with a silver/pink glint. Love it.

Then, about a week & 1/2 later, I grabbed another orange out of The Big Box o' Polish (technically, two large drawers...whatevs). Not as much duochrome, but the colors are still pretty similar. China Glaze Jamaican Out. It looks much darker in the bottle than it did on my nails, but it photographs lighter than the Zoya.

so, these aren't totally dupes, but they're close enough for me.

Easter Konadapalooza

I told you I would go bananas if I ever got a Konad, and look what I did for this Easter:

I didn't do the white base coat this year. If you don't count base coat and top coat, it's only six polishes. Also, one polish is a repeater from last year, Bahamian Escape (a lovely sky blue).

I got Good Witch (it's on my unseen thumb up there) from the Wizard of Oohs and Aahs collection in the same Sally sale for $2.99, and will fully swatch it at some point. Probably in May, when I go see Wicked as it rolls through Dallas.

So bright, so green, so springtime. I once again found it not looking quite complete. Konad to the rescue, again. This is a granny smith apple green. The brush is weird. And after I put the designs on, I put on a coat of Seche. I got a lot of compliments on this particular manicure, which I rocked on a Friday night.

I think this is supposed to be a fishnet design, but the final effect was referred to as lizard nails. I should have fixed the index finger, but I don't think people look *that* closely at my designs.

Konad m79 is totally my favorite so far. It's dots, clouds, some fishnet looking thing and pearls and flowers, all full nail designs.

I went to Sally last week and snagged a couple polishes on sale. They also had an Orly Rage at the counter, which I *had* to have. I got China Glaze VIII for $1.99. It's a lovely eggplant creme, opaque in two coats. It was lovely, but it lacked a certain pizazz. Enter m79 and the Sally Hansen Color Quick Purple Chrome.

Squee! I love this so much! Apologies for the blurry shot. Also, the deep shine? Seche Vite, baby! Winner, and still champion of the top coat battle.

Nubar Stronghold

I've had Nubar's porcelain base coat and Diamont for a while, but haven't been using them. I finally broke down and ordered a color from their new Fortress collection. Because I really *heart* grey polishes. I will tell you that I still prefer Seche Vite top coat, even if it does shrink a little. I started with two coats of Stronghold.

It's gorgeous, and it's pretty much opaque on the first coat, but I did a second coat to ensure no streaks. There was a little naked nail on the first go around.

I liked it, but I also wanted to play with the Konad. It was grey and rainy, so I went with silver clouds. Ooooh. Aaaah.

I did use Diamont over the Konad. I also sat for 30 minutes while it dried completely.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Cherry Love

I actually wore this one on St. Patrick's Day, as an homage to the colorblind. Also, I really, really, REALLY like this red. It's creamy, and opaque and totally works with my weird pale, yet still olive skin tone.

I couldn't find my black, so I went with a navy blue, Nicole by OPI Midnight Madness. I like the effect. I'd like to see this with an opaque white base coat.

Also, please excuse my ragged cuticles. I wore a lot of glitters this week, which means a lot of soaking in acetone to remove. I use a cuticle oil daily and a cuticle cream at night, and still, raggedy. Apologies.

So lovely. So sparkly. Such a pain to remove.

BB Couture Napa Valley Red

this is a collaboration between Vampy Varnish and BB Couture. The Vampy Varnish collection has many lovely shades in it, but this one appealed to me the most. It's almost a see-through red, with a lot of glitter. I took a picture of it out in the sun, so you could. The effect is that it appears to be lit from under your nail. I went with three coats, so the glitter would cover my visible nail line.

I got this polish in January, which tells you how far behind I am in taking and posting pics. :(

Why does OPI insist on making you sound like you have a lisp when you're saying their polish names?

I will tell you that this a dark, shimmery green, with tons of silver & green microglitter. It flashes silver in different lights. I think it also looks really pretty with silver Konad designs.

I don't even know how to begin to describe this color. It's like a beautiful purple with an iridescent green flash. Just kept staring at it. It's so pretty. In the dark restaurant where I work, it looked like a glowing grey. Then, I'd go into the brightly lit kitchen, and it would either look green or purple, depending on which way I turned. It's absolutely gorgeous, and may be headed into my all time faves category.

I wanted to make a pretty blue glitter polish for my best friend. She's always dug blue/teal polishes, and I had a bottle of Sally Girl teal glitter just lying around. I also had some Poshe top coat that wasn't being used. I decided to swirl them together. On the first shake, it blended beautifully. I shook it a little harder, to achieve an even distribution, and then I walked away. When I came back two hours later, I was bummed to discover what had only earlier looked like it would be a great teal glitter was now a glop of silver glitter at the bottom of the bottle, with a blue-tinged polish on top. No matter how hard I shake it, it will not blend back together.

FAIL.

I've been playing with m79. My favorite is the clouds.

Meet Me at Star Ferry main polish

China Glaze Bahamanian Escape main polish. This one was great, and received compliments all through the day and night. It looks like the wallpaper in Toy Story. I love this.

Again, I know that it's February, and not technically springtime. But the colors that are coming out now are so gorgeous, I can't stand it. Here are two more that I picked up recently.

First is Leaf Him at the Altar. I am so madly in love with this polish. It is a bright metallic green, with a golden shimmer. It showed no brush strokes, and I again, I went for three coats. Also, please note that I always use Seche Vite top coat. But I've also recently made a switch from CND Stickey base coat to Seche Rebuild. My nails are starting to get all thin & peely, and I can't have this.

I got a billion compliments on this color.

Next, we have the winner for maybe the worst name ever to grace a polish: Iris I was Thinner. You wha? Excuse me? It's bad English, and it's perpetuating bullshit.

But, it's a lovely lavender shade. And since the Lucky Lucky Lavender from the OPI Hong Kong collection turned out to be not so lavender and oh so Pepto-Bismol pink, this was a nice shade for my purple fetish.

three coats color, plus my beloved Seche. This stuff is awesome, and is the tricky to a glossy manicure, every time.

Chanel Particuliere

Mmm...neutral. I didn't immediately hate the formula, which we know is progress since I usually loathe Chanel's polishes. I love their lipsticks and blushes and whatnots. But the nail polishes and I don't get along. But this formula was easy to use, and opaque in two coats. Yay!

I did manage to snag the last bottle at Northpark's Nordstrom. Because I am cool like that. Not cool enough to have snagged a Chanel Jade, but still...

so, yeah, I've been gone. Sorry. I still do my nails, and sometimes, I even take pictures. I've been playing a lot with ombre manicures.

First, I took two polishes, China Glaze Metallic Muse and Rescue Beauty Lounge Recycle, and mixed them.

Then, I took a bright color (Sephora by OPI's Blue Grotto - on sale for $5) and added white polish to it gradually. This one came out lovely.

I also find myself experimenting with textures. I played with OPI's suede finish Lincoln Park After Dark, with the regular lacquer on the tips. Eh.

And then, I used a glitter tip, with a lovely purple, which was a much more festive look. Rimmel's Purple Metal with OPI's Mad As A Hatter on the tip.

I snagged a bottle of Chanel's Particuliere on a recent trip to Nordstrom's, so I will post a swatch of that, with some of the other "greige" colors I have.

Lippmann Collection

I went to the mall for brunch with some friends. I wasn't going to buy anything. And then, my companion wanted to go to Neimans and look at the handbags. I have long loved Neimans makeup department. I wasn't even looking for nail polishes. And then, tucked off in a corner, right next to the $400 jeans, I saw them. The Lippmann Collection polishes. I was really only looking to see if they had Happy Birthday, their tenth anniversary (SPECIAL EDITION!) polish.

They did. They also had the three-pack with Superstar, Ruby Red Slippers and Funky Chunky. Oh. Em. Gee.

they came home with me.

I went for Funky Chunky first. I did the pigs first. And I stupidly used a top coat. If you have a polish that is meant to be sequiny and chunky, as its name implies, do not put a super glossy top coat on it. So, I had a better idea of what I was doing by the time I got to my fingernails.

I started with the first coat. I noticed that the sequins were sticking mostly to the bottoms of my nails. I tried spreading them around. I decided to use three coats. I wish it dried faster, since I am addicted to Poshe fast-dry topcoat. The thumbnails just looked smudgy to me.

Removal of the Funky Chunky was quite a challenge. Glitters are pretty hard to remove, but this doesn't have glitter. This lovely black has little black sequins, which turned silver as I used pure acetone for this job. I was finding those little silver sequins all over my hands for about a day.

Next up, I decided I was in the mood for a brown hue. I was looking right at my Superstar. I need some sparkle in my life, and Superstar has it aplenty! I went for three coats, because I wanted the glitter to be deep. It's so pretty.

This is also where I discovered that the camera on my new phone is much stronger than my old one. YAY!

Hi! I'm still here, and still painting every day. I have been using a lot of Sinful Colors. They're toulene, formaldehyde, dbp annd camphor free, and they're 2 for $3 at Walgreens. I went looking for an affordable glitter, and now somehow I have 12 of their polishes.

I have also been frankening my own polishes. I mix together colors that I am almost out of (and therefore clearly loved deeply), and name the results after my friends.

So, I *will* be getting a digital camera, and I *will* be updating more once every two months. Because my nail polish love isn't abating.

here's the deal: I'm still painting my two tones daily. But my camera phone sucks at picking up the true beauty in some of the polishes, so it makes me mad. So I don't post the crappiest ones. And ever since I moved, it's darker in this house and the pics don't come out, so they're all crappy.

I need a suggestion for a digital camera for under $200 for a really bitchin' setup. Thoughts?

I had two bottles of Lincoln Park At Midnight, which is a shimmery version of Lincoln Park After Dark, which is the greatest OPI ever. I also had just a little It's Sheer Luck left. So, I mixed those with a mostly empty Seche Vite dry-fast top coat. And threw in a little Wireless for some suspended glitter. Then I threw in some Color Club French Tip to lighten it up. And then, I had a random mini Sally Girl shimmery that seemed pretty close to LPAM. I give you Kitchen Sink (since I basically just threw whatever in there). I probably should've shaken further and let it set overnight. But I just mixed it up and slapped it on, because I liked it. It is pretty close to Catherine the Grape from the 2007 Russia collection, but with silver undertones and glitters. I need to give it to a girlfriend, and get a real world review of it. My polishes tend to stay on my fingernails for just a day, so unless it's an egregious offender (I'm looking at you, Chanel), it doesn't get a chance to chip.

Bright and cheerful. I wish I didn't hate the formula of Chanel, because this is such a pretty yellow, and it's hard for me to wear yellows. I am pale, but I have olive undertones, due to my Mediterranean heritage. Yellows tend to make me look like a corpse, so I only own two yellow pieces of clothing (a sports bra and some tights). I like yellow (it's so cheerful), but it just doesn't work on me.

But, this shade somehow does. This shade just sort of glows. It's too bad that even with the base coat and top coat, it chips right away.

A post-Memorial Day, pre-Independence Day patriotic mani. Meant to be shimmery red and blue, I was told by a chef at work that it was more pink and teal than red and blue. What do boys know from pretty colors? I think my white Konad special polish is running out. It was extremely thick and quite difficult to use. It ended up smeared on a couple of tips.

I really like the ManGlaze. It's a good formula, and I really love the richness, so even though it's a matte polish, it's not lacking for depth. It reminds me a lot of Noir Ceramic from late 2006 Chanel when you put the topcoat over it. I really think this pink looks weird, but looking back, I tend to use it a lot. With painting my nails so often, I find myself gravitating to certain colors over and over. This pink is one of them.

I found a polish for Lucy, my mutt! She's a very patient girl, and she means a lot to me, unnecessary anthropomorphizing notwithstanding. I found out that a few years ago, OPI did a collection of fast-drying polishes. Well, Lu should have a mani, too. I sought one out. A silver called Yuppy Puppy. Well, actually, OPI calls it Paw-lish. I love it. By the time we got to the last toenail, the first one was dry. Lucy was very patient, and seemed to enjoy the attention. That might also have to do with giving her treats, so she wouldn't be freaked out. Also, if she had balked, I would have stopped. But she was a very good girl, and look how cute it came out:

Yes, another black and purple combo. Because I like them a lot as individual colors and in concert with one another. I wanted to see what the neon Essie would look like with a top coat. The formula for a neon polish is similar to a matte-finish formula. So, chipping was once again an issue.

I'm a sucker for a trend. Especially a trend involving dark polishes. Mattes are all the rage right now. ManGlaze is way old school (as in, they were country when country wasn't cool). I wasn't really pleased with how quickly it chipped, but that's to be expected with any of these mattes. In order to get that beautiful finish, their formulas must be different from the glossies. I wonder what ManGlaze would look like with the Poshe top coat.

Nicole by OPI Berry Sweet and OPi You're a Doll

I get a lot of mileage out of the Doll. Last time I wore it, I noticed in the sunlight that it's got red microglitter dots. I don't know why I never noticed them before. I always just through it was an icy lavender. So, I figured I'd pair it with a new red. All in all, I really think the combo is lovely together. I wore my black and white rose ring with this, and it was super-presh.

I suddenly love how the Curry looks with everything. I don't love the visible brushstrokes in the metallic polishes. I heretofore had avoided gold in all shades. Then, I got some cute gold leaf earrings, and they're almost the exact color of the curry. Gold and turquoise make me happy together. I'm glad the Nicoles were only $2. I have to use three coats of them to get them to be as opaque as I like for my polish to be. That being said, I heart this purple. It is both dark and bright. No real complaints about it, other than it being slightly runny. I could see loving this color intensely, culminating in a quiet countryside commitment ceremony, where I'd wear a crown of violets and a diaphanous lavender gown.

meh. I found out that I tore some cartilage in my knee when I fell a few days ago. So, that sucks. But the painkillers and the anti-inflammatory will make things better.

3. When did you first start really getting into nail polish?

When I was about 10. I had acrylics from 8th grade through college. I have long loved dark polishes, and used to change my polish once a week. About three years ago, I started collecting polishes. And earlier this year, I started changing my polish every day. I do two colors, because on Valentine's Day, I couldn't decide if I wanted red or pink, so I chose both.

4. Do you do your own mani/pedi or get them done?
I do them myself. I have gone and would go again to get them done, but I do it when I come home from work. It's how I wind down.

5. Who is your biggest celebrity crush?
I adore Adrien Brody.

6. Would you rather do what you love for a living but struggle to make ends meet, or do something you just tolerate but make lots of $$?
I would rather do something I love. All the money in the world can't buy happiness. Although I would have cuter things to wear while I was depressed.

I want to go to Thailand and stay in one of those huts on the water, and do yoga at sunrise.

OPI Hey, Get In Lime! and Nicole by OPI Blush of Adrenaline

I stopped at a CVS by my house to grab some shampoo and pens for work and what have you. I was perusing the beauty aisles, because I love that section, and in any drugstore, grocery store, farmer's market, little gift shop, I go up and down and check them out. I want to see, smell and touch the potions and lotions, I love it all.

This particular CVS was having some sort of beauty clearance. Nicole by OPI poishes were $2.19 each. I quickly sorted through and chose three. Three polishes for under $7 seems like a great bargain to me.

Also, at someplace called The Beauty Store, next to my local Tom Thumb, they had discontinued OPIs for $3.50. I got the lime, because it's actually more minty than limey. It's a little runny, so I used three coats. I used three coats of the blush, so that they would be similarly creamy. I like the way my bargain basement pedi/mani came out.

Essie Perky Purple and Color Club Where's the Soiree

So, everyone's getting with matte-finish polishes this fall right? OPI, Misa, Zoya, not to mention the awesomeness of ManGlaze or Knock Out's stunning and expanding line of colors. I want them. I want them all.

I was using my Perky Purple for the first time. I noticed that the first coat was streaky and thick. And when it dried, it dried in a flat, matte finish. I wondered if I could make it work, and contrast it with a super-shiny, super-dark polish. I ended up using four coats of the purple, trying to even out the brush strokes. I also planned to use the shiny top coat on it when I got home, but since it chipped right as I was reaching into the box to get the top coat to apply. Good grief, that is a long and ugly sentence. So, here's a glimpse at what I achieved:

Black & grey. There's nothing much to say here, other than to reiterate my adoration of RBL polishes. Just wonderful. Good opaqueness, long lasting. I just love them. I broke my left hand index fingernail, so it's real short, and its appearance of shortness is magnified by dark polish.

Man, I love the Nfu-Ohs. But holy cow, they are next to impossible to remove. I did the whole soak a cotton pad in an acetone remover, hold it to the nail, and then remove. Works with most glittery polishes. The big hunks of glitter in my Nfu-Ohs stick to my nails through several swipes. It usually hangs around for a couple of manicures that follow.

So, when I was Ebaying around, looking for the Le Magnetique, I accidentally bought this pink. Not really my bag, per se, but I wanted to test it out, nonetheless. Good formula, good coverage...not awful at all. Were it a darker shade, I would probably adore it.

I used Blind Date on the ring finger with the Konad, rather than a special paint, just to see what would happen. It was barely visible in real life, and I can't really see at all in the picture.

Happy Mother's Day, mom! I finally painted my nails a "normal color", just for you. These were also my high school colors. If I had a tiger Konad, I would have used it, too. Go Katy Tigers! Heh.

The dots and the bows with dots match each other nicely, but the Konad special polish red is more yellow than the Le Beau, so they don't really match that well, which is killing me. It's all just about making it as pretty as possible.

Yes, again. Because here's why: Not too long ago, Chanel nail polishes and I broke up. See, for the longest time, Vamp was my most beloved, my most favoritest of all time polish. I started wearing it in 1995, when I was a young lass who still got acrylic nails. It was expensive nail polish, but so worth it to me. Because that beautiful blackish purple was just right up my alley. I loved it, and I bought many a bottle. This was back in my nascent nail obsessed days, so I didn't know about base coats or top coats or not to smother my own sad little nails with noxious chemicals. I've always wanted pretty hands and nails. My grandmother's hands were feminine, and never without polish (almost always red). My mom's nails are long, strong and lovely. My own hands? I could palm a basketball, and until I started painting my nails daily, never once had all ten nails long at the same time.

I'm not sure when Chanel changed their formula, but it was after I'd moved to Dallas. Because I stopped buying Vamp. I still got my nails done, but I'd always choose an OPI or occasionally, an Essie.

And then, in 2006, Chanel released a polish that seemed to finally make it okay to adore and proudly rock very dark nails: Black Satin. I had to drive over to Fort Worth to get mine because it was all sold out everywhere in Dallas. And then, after getting not one, but two bottles of Black Satin, it occurred to me why I'd left Vamp by the wayside. Chanel's formula sucks. The polish chips, oftentimes right away. I use strong, shiny topcoats, and still the Chanel always chips. And I figure, if you're going to charge me $18 per bottle, then your polish ought to have a decent formula.

It was on Beauty Addict, I think, where I first read about Rescue Beauty Lounge. It was a picture of Recycle, and I thought "holy cow, that's gorgeous! I don't mind spending good money for good products, so I thought "I'll buy a bottle of that, and if I love it, I will wear it all the time." So, the Recycle came. And the formula is amazing, it's fairly opaque in the first coat, and completely by the second coat. They are also big three free. Very soon after getting Recycle, I ordered Concrete Jungle, which is a matte soft grey. I absolutely adore my RBL.

The point of all this is that Chanel and Rescue Beauty Lounge nail polishes are the same price. I would not hesitate to recommend buying an RBL polish. In fact, I have. Repeatedly. I currently have only five of them: Recycle, Concrete Jungle, Starfish Patrick, Bruise and Teal. But I use them often, and love them deeply. And Recycle remains my favorite all time polish.

That was a lot of jabber to justify today's Dallas Mavs mani, with green & silver toes to match.

Wow, I love how bright Entourage is. I just love the beautiful shimmer and opaque brilliance of it. And these two seem bright enough and shimmery enough to be a nice match.

I have outgrown my nail polish storage unit. It's an old train case, and I have so many polishes, there are two layers going on in there. It makes it hard to get organized, as they're all jumbled up. It also upsets my slight OCD streak. I need to get something so that I can get them all together by brand, color, and/or name.

I like powder blue with brown, but the Just Groovy is a little too bright and matte to go with the golden undertones in the Fondue, which is just a lovely brown. So, I added the golden glittery goodness of Golden Enchantment.

I must have every Nfu-Oh polish. They are numbered, rather than named, like the little works of art they are. Since they are numbered, I need to start with 1, and collect them all. My collection is currently #51 and #60. The bottles look like a dress with a corset top. And it has boobs! <3! Look how pretty:

The Nfu-Ohs are pretty sheer, so I end up using three coats. I think it looks like stained glass when you layer all those big, fat hunks of glitter on top of each other. The blue-purple polish that the glitter is suspended in is right up my alley! I am going to call this my most beautiful polish.

I don't think that the OPI is as red as its name would have you believe. It's a creamy, softer orange-y red. So, I paired it with a pastel-y orange. I need a better camera (rather than my phone) because the Konad tips on my fingers are yellow and blue to match my polish. The blue on the ring finger's tip is too dark to match the pale Bahamanian Escape (what a great name) on my other nails. Oh well!

I went to a barbecue Monday afternoon. Service industry folk often have Mondays off, so we all gathered and cooked out. Someone's girlfriend had on a gorgeous white dress with black flowers and pale pink ribbon straps. I wanted those colors in today's nails, so I chose matte pastel pink and a bright white with a pink glitter coat. For the Konad design, I chose the cherry blossoms for the toes, because I don't care if they're not really straight, because I'm just a-practicing. I wish the manicure were straighter on the tips. But, my nails aren't exactly long, so I'll take what I can get.

Update: the pink polish chipped. I'm gonna blame the Seche Clear base coat. I usually go with Sally Hansen, but I am just about out. I can't tilt the bottle far enough over to get enough out, yet I can't throw it out until I have a new one. (Yes, I know how crazy this little rant makes me sound). So, I re-did the ring fingers, using contrasting white dots this time.

And has great prices. That's where I got the Entourage, which is from the Kicks collection. I have a few others in that particular collection that I covet, but budget's a little lean this month, so they'll have to wait. I like that green-ness of GR8 complements the subtle shimmer in Entourage. Again, since I'm using a camera phone, there's a lot of subtlety that goes unphotographed.

Fun with Konad

So, the Konad arrived. They're still running the sale at OC Nail Art. They also do international shipping. I already ~~want~~ need several new plates and some of the other special polishes.

So, first up, I Konad-ed little cherry blossoms on top of the fun orange from Saturday.

Then, I painted a white all over, and started playing with the stamper. I love the bow. I hate that the fishnets are not perfectly even.

So, I'll probably be using Konads for a while so that I can get good at it. Or at least make them even.

It's raining again. I get it, April showers...blah blah blah. Today's fun happy colors are a bright blue creme and my superhappyfunbright orange. I bought this superhappyfunbright orange ring the day of the infamous springtime or Halloween manicure of recent. I have actually used both these colors recently, but not together. And lo, the angels did sing, and the heavens did part, and the Ebay and the USPS did deliver unto me a Lancome magnetic nail polish. From the fall 2007 collection, please welcome the newly beloved Bordeaux Esmee to the big box o'polish. SCIENCE MANI/PEDI!

This polish has metallic particles in it. It comes with a magnet attached to the tiny bottle. I mean SRSLY:

granted, I do have giant man-hands, but still...

You put on one coat, and let it dry. You put on the second coat, and while it's still wet, you hold the magnet to it for five seconds. It creates a lovely starburst design. Then, I layered Seche Vite over it, so it looks like tiger's eye gemstones on my nails. The design was quite difficult to accomplish on the pigs, so once again, I'm showing you the matching manicure. I'll more often than not show you both from now on. Behold:

and, the mani, which came out awesome, because I got better as I went. By the time I got to my right thumb nail (always painted last), I had figured to kind of turn the magnet for a bigger design. Neat.

The mail came early today. My Nfu-Oh polish from Fabulous Street arrived. First of all, I have never loved a polish more. I can see a large portion of my income going to Fabulous Street. I got #60, which is a sheer black with big, fat hunks of coppery glittery. I used three coats, because I just couldn't stop looking at it. It's just gorgeous!

After looking at it in the sun, I've decided it looks like stained glass. I <3 it so much. I hope I make a lot of money tonight, because I have already picked out the next ones I'm going to order.

The colors are gorgeous. The GR8 (I hate typing its name) flashed green and blue. However, it was also my primary color on my nails and it chipped. I am quite fastidious about my nails (clearly), and am not a fan of easily chippable polishes. Again, with a polish that is more sheer than I'd like. I feel like the Tangerine is too sheer. I wanted it to be creamy and jelly-like. And I can still see my nails. I used Seche Clear as a base coat and I always use Seche Vite as a top coat. Also, when I do the pigs, I also paint my fingernails, leaving my ring finger to be the contrasting colors. So right now, eight of my fingernails are bright orange and two are hot pink.

I used three coats of the Curry Up, because I wanted it be shiny, but not streaky. Sort of like brushed metal.

Midnight is one of my favorites. It's black/red. <3 it. I need to invest in some more pale colors. I need an unlimited nail polish budget.
